A thought-provoking exhibition which casts a new and fascinating light on the way that images of our elected leaders, and politicians' individual styles, can shape public opinion and political debate. Discover how cartoons, caricatures and other artifacts featuring some of Canada's most famous politicians contribute to the creation of public images that can win or lose them an election.
On display are objects such as a tin poster using the face of Canada's first French-speaking Prime Minister, Sir Wilfrid Laurier; a campaign hat rimmed with slogans promoting "Dief the Chief;" and a wood carving showing Canada's fighting leaders paddling their canoe toward the 1982 Constitution.
